The Saudi – Turkish Normalization: Impact on ties with Iran?

Turkey has been trying to strike a balance between Saudi Arabia and Iran. Yet, the behavior of Riyadh and Tehran toward Ankara has made it more difficult for Turkey to attain such a goal. During the last 10 years, it can be observed that when Turkey gets closer to Riyadh, its ties with Tehran are likely deteriorate, and vice-versa. On June 2022, Saudi Arabian Crown Prince paid a visit to Ankara, and this seems to open the way to normalization of relations between the two regional powers. What will Tehran’s response be?
