4th Italy–Türkiye Intergovernmental Summit
Today, 29 April, the 4th Italy–Türkiye Intergovernmental Summit takes place in Rome, marking a significant step forward in bilateral relations and regional cooperation. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan reaffirm their commitment to strengthening diplomatic, political, and economic ties.
On this occasion, the CeSPI Observatory on Türkiye launches a special edition of its newsletter, gathering recent analyses and insights that connect directly to today’s Summit. The publication features contributions from the Ambassador of Italy to Türkiye, H.E. Giorgio Marrapodi, the CIIM EurAsiaMed Board of Directors, aerospace expert Dr. Arda Mevlütoğlu, along with a data analysis based on ICE Istanbul data by CeSPI’s Director Daniele Frigeri.
Valeria Giannotta, Scientific Director of the CeSPI Observatory on Türkiye, takes part in today’s Summit as a speaker, moderating one of the thematic sessions in Rome and bringing the Observatory’s perspective into the ongoing discussions on strategic cooperation between Italy and Türkiye.
