Social inclusion processes and preventing violence in Central America

CeSPI provides technical assistance to the General Secretariat of the Central-American Integration System (SG-SICA) for the creation of territorial partnerships among towns belonging to six Central American cross-border regions, meant to prevent violence through development and social inclusion plans for local economies, aimed at reducing insecurity and social marginalization.

The project can be framed within a context of collaboration with SICA, started up in 2015, in the scope of the project Prevention of the Violence in the Territories, financed by the European Commission.
