Cookie Policy
1. General Information on Cookies Used
By default, almost all browsers are set to automatically accept cookies. Users/visitors can still change the default configurations at any time.
As noted above, disabling or deleting cookies may compromise the optimal use of certain areas/functions of the site.
If users/visitors want to decide whether or not to accept cookies each time, they can also configure their browser to generate a warning every time a cookie is saved.
The cookies used can be of the following types: (1) persistent, which remain stored on the user's/visitor's device until they expire; (2) session cookies, which are not stored persistently and are deleted when the browser is closed.
Cookies are used to:
-Facilitate navigation within the site and ensure its proper use;
-For statistical purposes, to know which areas of the site have been visited;
-For optimal page management.
Session cookies are used to transmit navigation session identifiers to allow secure and efficient site exploration. Session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other IT techniques that could compromise the confidentiality of user/visitor navigation and are also used to improve the delivery of the services offered.
In addition, cookies may be first-party (used, for example, to know the number of pages visited within the site) or third-party (generated by other sites to provide content on the site visited by users). Most browsers allow blocking only third-party cookies, accepting only those of the site itself. Some companies that generate cookies on third-party sites also offer the ability to deactivate and/or inhibit only their cookies easily, even when these are anonymous or do not involve the registration of identifiable personal data such as IP addresses.
2. Cookies Used for Aggregate Website Analysis
www.cespi.it uses tools for the aggregate analysis of navigation data that allow for website improvements (Google Analytics version 4). These tools use cookies installed on the user’s/visitor’s device to enable the website managers to analyze how users/visitors use the sites.
The information generated by the cookies on the user’s/visitor’s use of the sites (including the IP address anonymized by masking certain fields) will be transmitted and stored on Google servers.
Such information may be used to track and examine the use of the sites by users/visitors, for reporting purposes, and to provide other services related to the site’s activities and Internet navigation.
Users/visitors can still disable Google Analytics 4 and prevent it from being stored on their devices by using the browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics, available at:
https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
To activate this component that disables the system from sending information about the user’s/visitor’s visit, simply install it by following the on-screen instructions, then close and reopen the browser.
3. How to Disable Cookies
Most browsers are initially set to automatically accept cookies. The user/visitor can change these settings to disable cookies or to be notified when cookies are used on their device. There are various ways to manage cookies, and the user/visitor can refer to their browser’s help screen or user manual to learn how to configure or modify cookie settings. If different devices are used (e.g., personal computers, smartphones, tablets), the user/visitor must ensure that each browser on each device is configured to reflect their cookie preferences.
