Trump’s ambitions over the gas pipeline in Bosnia

The European Union and the Trump administration are in conflict over a contract in Bosnia and Herzegovina related to the construction of a pipeline linked to the Southern Interconnection energy project, designed to reduce dependence on Russian gas. Brussels is challenging Bosnia for awarding the contract without a public tender to a U.S. company (Aafs) linked to Trump’s entourage, arguing that this violates transparency rules.
