News: Stabilisation and Association Council between EU and Bosnia and Herzegovina in Brussels

The Stabilisation and Association Council between the European Union and Bosnia and Herzegovina held its fifth meeting in Brussels.

The meeting was chaired by Josep Borrell, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Olivér Várhelyi, Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement. The Delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was led by Borjana Krišto, Chairwoman of the Council of Ministers, the Minister of Defence, Zukan Helez and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, Staša Košarac.  

During the meeting, the EU expressed serious concern over the secessionist rhetoric in Republika Srpska and called on Bosnia and Herzegovina to develop and adopt a national programme for the alignment with EU acquis.
