News: Peter Sørensen is the new EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue

The Council of the European Union has appointed Peter Sørensen as the EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. Sørensen will take office on February 1, 2025, with a mandate of 13 months, and his with the task will be to facilitateof facilitating dialogue for the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
The Danish diplomat has extensive experience in the Western Balkans, having held, among other positions, the role of Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina from 2011 to 2014.
