14 May 2025
The 10th edition of the Western Balkans Civil Society Forum took place between May 13 and 14 in Budva, Montenegro, organized by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). The Forum aims to strengthen the structured dialogue between civil society organizations in the Balkan countries and EU institutions, as well as to accelerate the socio-economic convergence of the Western Balkans with the European Union.
The President of the EESC, Oliver Röpke, reiterated that “The future of the Western Balkans is in Europe. Civil society must be at the center of this process, contributing to building a Union based on democratic reforms, social justice, and shared growth.”
