News: Kosovo: €17 million EBRD financing for SMEs

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has provided total financing of €17 million to ProCredit Bank Kosovo with the aim of supporting the green transition and digitalisation of the country’s small and medium-sized enterprises. The package includes €10 million under the Western Balkans Green Outcomes-Linked Debt (WB GOLD) facility, earmarked for investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy, and €7 million through the Go Digital in the Western Balkans programme, which seeks to strengthen SME competitiveness through digital solutions. The operation contributes to the EBRD’s priorities in Kosovo and is aligned with European Union support provided through the Western Balkans Investment Framework.
To date, the EBRD has invested €840 million in Kosovo through 138 projects across the country.
