News: Bilateral Italy Croatia

Following the Italian-Croatian bilateral meeting on 27 April, the Italian Defence Minister, Lorenzo Guerini, announced that Italy and Croatia are committed to giving "full support to Ukraine". The Minister also said that Italy and Croatia will give full support to the path of integration of the Western Balkans in the EU as "essential to strengthen the stability of the region and the European security framework". During the meeting, Italy expressed its willingness to fully implement the 2020 "Memorandum of Understanding on Defence Cooperation" concerning the training of Croatian troops.
