News: 8 Bosnian parties have signed a coalition agreement to meet EU entry requirements

29 November 2022

A coalition of 8 political parties led by the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) signed a document entitled "Guidelines, principles and objectives of the executive and legislative authorities for the period 2022-2026" which defines the government work programme for the next four years.

The coalition agreement focuses on Euro-Atlantic integration, political stability and the rule of law and the economy. The agreement aims at satisfying the 14 priorities that the EU commission has indicated in 2019 like conditions for obtaining the status of candidate country from Bosnia.

The document was also presented to the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Oliver Varhely, during his visit to Sarajevo on 29 November.
