News: Bosnia-Erzegovina: La Commissione Elettorale rimuove ufficialmente Dodik dall’incarico di Presidente della RS
18 August 2025
On 1 August 2025, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) upheld the first-instance ruling against the President of Republika Srpska (RS), Milorad Dodik, sentencing him to one year in prison and banning him from holding public office for six years for failing to comply with the decisions of the High Representative (HR).
On 18 August 2025, the Electoral Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the basis of the conviction, officially removed Dodik from the post of RS President and must now call early elections to elect the new president of the Serb Entity.
