News: Montenegro Closed Chapter 5 on Public Procurement

Montenegro has provisionally closed accession negotiations on Chapter 5 about Public Procurement - agreements reached on specific chapters are only considered final once a comprehensive agreement covering all chapters is concluded. This marks the seventh chapter to be closed, representing another step forward for Montenegro on its path toward European integration.

On June 19, the European Parliament approved the 2023 and 2024 Reports on Montenegro within the framework of the EU enlargement process, reaffirming Montenegro’s path, as it remains the second most advanced candidate country in the enlargement process.
